The highest point in the Darjeeling area (2,590m), famous for its soul-stirring sunrise views. On a clear day, a ribbon of peaks is visible, from Kanchenjunga to a distant Mount Everest. This is a pre-dawn pilgrimage. You'll join a convoy of jeeps in the dark (around 4:00 AM) to claim a spot. As the sun rises, it strikes the Kanchenjunga massif, turning it from soft pink to blazing gold. It's often chaotic, but worth it.
