The Mohana

This is the confluence where a tidal creek meets the sea lies at the southern end. This is the prettiest stretch of the coast, especially at first light. The fish auction (such as it is) happens here when the boats come in: a chaotic, half-hour scrum of fishmongers, hotel buyers and curious tourists haggling over flapping bhetki, pomfret, mackerel and improbably large mud crabs.
