Another irrigation dam, 45km from Jhargram and about 18km from Belpahari, is set in a bowl of low forested hills. In winter it is the circuit's prime birdwatching site, with a decent cross-section of waterfowl and migratory species. Fishermen will occasionally row you out for a small fee; ask, don't assume.
