Address: New Town, Action Area II. Daily except Monday. 
Timing: Tue-Sat 2:30-8:30pm; Sun/holidays noon-8:30pm; counter closes 6:30pm. 
Entry: Rs 30 adults, Rs 20 children/seniors; rides charged separately.
With 480 acres around a 104-acre lake, opened in 2012, this is an urban recreational park with ecological ambitions, not a nature park, a distinction worth managing expectations around. It contains themed gardens (Japanese, bamboo, cactus, medicinal), a butterfly garden, a biodiversity park, boating, cycling tracks, an amphitheatre, full-scale Seven Wonders replicas and a 1,600 sq m ice rink (up to 45 skaters).
The scale of green space is the main asset after New Town’s treeless roads; the lakeside is best in early evening, when light is soft and the water calm. Boating (row, paddle, motor launch) is popular; the last hour before closing is the most rewarding time on the water.
