Likely Sightings: Indian elephants (often in herds), spotted deer, barking deer, wild boar, langurs, various hornbill species, jungle fowl. 

If lucky: Leopards (shy, mostly nocturnal), gaur (rare in many visitor accounts). 

Very rare: Bengal tigers (resident population is small; most sightings are transient animals passing through the corridor). 

Birdlife: Over ~180+ species including pied hornbills, crested serpent eagles, minivets, and woodpeckers. Carry binoculars, but dense canopy means you’ll often hear more than you see.
