Sajnekhali: The “headquarters” for tourists. Features a Mangrove Interpretation Centre, a turtle pond, and a watchtower.
Sudhanyakhali: One of the better places to hope for tiger sightings: not because tigers pose for the cameras here, but because the sweet water pond draws deer, boar, and other wildlife into view, and sometimes the forest’s biggest shadow follows.
Dobanki: Famous for its Canopy Walk, a netted mesmerizing walkway 20 feet above the ground that lets you safely walk over the tiger territory.
Netidhopani: A deeper zone (limit 12 boats/day) featuring the ruins of a 400-year-old temple and legends of Behula-Lakhindar. Access is controlled and permissions are limited on many days, so this is often a “if the permit opens up” kind of detour rather than something you can schedule with certainty.
