Sittong hosts a small tea garden within the belt. With prior arrangement through your homestay, visitors can tour the garden during the flush season (spring and early autumn) and observe the processing of orthodox tea leaves. The quantities produced are small and the operation is artisanal, making it an excellent counterpoint to the industrial scale of many Darjeeling garden visits.
