Ramitey viewpoint, 17km from Pedong near Sillery Gaon, sits at 6,400 feet and offers what is arguably the longest view of the Teesta River, with up to 14 bends visible at once, plus a panoramic sweep of Kanchenjunga. Rikisum (Reesoom), 10km away at 6,000 feet, provides bird's-eye views of Kanchenjunga, Darjeeling, Gangtok and Pedong simultaneously from the ruins of a 1902 British bungalow.
