The Riyang river and its tributaries offer excellent spots for informal riverbank picnics, a beloved local activity especially on sunny winter afternoons. Many homestays will pack a tiffin for you; ask a day in advance. The descent to the Riyang from Sittong-I takes about 20-30 minutes on foot.
