Built around the mid-19th century, Krishnanagar’s Protestant Church is one of the older surviving examples of colonial ecclesiastical architecture in this part of Bengal, with Protestant missions active by 1855. Set in a leafy compound, it offers a quieter counterpoint to the bustle of the town and remains an important reminder of Krishnanagar’s 19th-century missionary history.
