Pokhri Hill

A short, 45-minute trek from Jayanti village leads to this small, sacred pond on a hilltop. “Pokhri” means pond, and this one is revered by locals. It's a peaceful spot, full of large, resident catfish and turtles that you can feed. The walk through the towering Sal forest to get there is a perfect morning activity.
