Photography

Jore Pokhri is a remarkable subject for landscape, wildlife and travel photography. The early morning mist over the twin lakes, the rhododendron colour in spring and the architectural quirk of the snake model in the lake all offer distinctive images. For wildlife photography, a long lens (300mm or more) and patience are essential. The diffuse light on overcast days is actually excellent for photographing the salamanders and aquatic reflections without harsh shadows.
