Peshok Tea Gardens (From Lamahatta)

A short drive from Lamahatta brings you to the Peshok estate's access roads; it is also possible to walk forest trails that connect Lamahatta directly to the Takdah Orchid Centre through the cryptomeria and pine stands. Ask at your homestay for the current state of these trails, as the paths are unmarked and a local guide, easily arranged through your accommodation for Rs 200-400 for a half-day, is strongly recommended for any forest walking.
