Pedong Mela (Agricultural Fair)

Held annually in the last week of February at the large open field at the bottom of the bazaar, the Pedong Mela is a beloved local fair where farmers from the surrounding villages gather to sell produce and handmade goods. Food stalls offer everything from momo to roasted corn, and folk music and dance performances fill the evenings. It is Pedong at its most vibrant and most itself.
