The single greatest argument for staying overnight rather than day-tripping is the dramatic change in the sanctuary's character at night. Jackals begin calling before the last light fades. Porcupines rustle through the undergrowth. Owls call from the darkness. Guests who rise before dawn and are at the treeline as the forest wakes up will witness a spectacle of bird and mammal activity that no day visitor ever sees.
