The Beach: This is where the action is. The flat, hard sand extends for miles. You can swim here (stick to the designated zones with lifeguards), ride horses, or just rent a beach chair and people-watch.

Amarabati Park: A landscaped park with a boating lake and a ropeway ride that offers a bird’s-eye view of the coast. A kitschy but fun diversion for families.

Commonly published hours vary by source; many list 7:30 am onward and closing between late afternoon and evening. (Best to confirm locally if you’re planning ropeway/boating.)

Science Centre: A surprisingly engaging spot with interactive science exhibits and a 3D theatre, good for killing an hour in the afternoon.

Open: 8am–8pm

Ticket counter: 8am–7.15pm

Jagannath Dham: A newer, headline-grabbing landmark that has quietly reshaped Digha’s evening scene. Even if you’re not on a full spiritual itinerary, it’s worth a visit for the scale, the spectacle, and the way it draws the town together at dusk, with families, devotees, and curious weekenders all moving in the same slow tide.

Hours: closed 12pm–4pm (midday), with last entry ~30 mins before closing. Festival days can override normal darshan flow.
