Musafirana Viewpoint

Located about 6 km from the main Mukutmanipur settlement, Musafirana offers sweeping panoramic views of the reservoir. This is widely considered the best spot for watching both sunrise and moonrise over the water. The viewpoint features a row of moored, colourfully named boats and is especially atmospheric in the evening, when the water takes on a golden sheen. Named boats like Nadir Pakhi, Jhumur, and Phulkumari add a touch of rustic poetry to the scene.
