This tiny hamlet epitomizes mountain tranquility. Though it serves more visitors than its size suggests, Loleygaon still feels like a hamlet, especially outside peak months, offering an escape into near-complete silence, broken only by birdsong and wind through pine forests.

Jhandi Dara
The village's premier viewpoint delivers an unobstructed 180-degree Himalayan panorama. On exceptionally clear days, locals claim you can even see Mount Everest in the distance, but don’t plan your trip around it.

Village Walks
Wander past traditional Lepcha homes, terraced fields, and cardamom plantations. The locals are warm and welcoming, often inviting travellers for tea.
