Kumarmangalam Park (KMP)

The finest urban park in Durgapur, Kumarmangalam Park was the first park in the entire Paschim Bardhaman district to feature a musical fountain. After years of neglect, it has been lovingly restored under private management and the musical fountain is back in operation. The park has boating facilities on a small ornamental lake, making it one of the city's premier spots for couples and families. A leisurely evening stroll here, ending with the musical fountain display, is one of Durgapur's more romantic experiences.
