By Car: The most popular option. Take the Vidyasagar Setu (Second Hooghly Bridge), follow the Kona Expressway and join NH16 toward Kolaghat/Nandakumar, then cut toward Contai and the Mandarmani approach (locals will often point you via Chawalkhola). Distance is roughly 180–183 km, and 3.5–5 hours is a fair expectation depending on traffic.

By Bus: Government and private buses run from Esplanade and Babughat in Kolkata. Journey takes 4-5 hours. Book tickets through West Bengal Transport Corporation or private operators.

By Train: There’s no station at Mandarmani itself. The closest convenient railhead is usually Kanthi/Contai, followed by a short road transfer. Digha is another popular option (with plenty of tourist traffic), but it’s farther, so plan for a longer taxi/auto ride onward to Mandarmani.

Nearest Airport: Kolkata (Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport), approximately 170km away.
