Often dated to 1873 and associated with the Dugar family’s Nashipur chapter, Kathgola Palace, more baganbari than fortress, was conceived as a garden retreat with the showmanship of a merchant court. The structure features a central drawing room, library, billiard room, and dining areas with porches on all four sides. The white-stone Adinath Temple, within the premises is a major pilgrimage stop in its own right.  Spread across 30 acres, this temple complex features gardens, ponds, marble gazebos, and statuettes.
