Kangsabati Riverfront & Suryaster Haat

End the town circuit at the Kangsabati riverfront, where the District Administration has developed Suryaster Haat, a riverside market and cultural space on the bank of the Kangsabati, ideal for an evening stroll. The river here is wide and shallow, with sandy banks that attract local families in the cooler months. The bank is famous for fishing and winter picnics; in December and January, the golden evening light over the water makes for some of the most atmospheric photography in the town.
