Junction Mall & City Centre

The largest shopping mall in West Bengal outside Kolkata, Junction Mall anchors Durgapur's City Centre district and serves as the social hub of the city, particularly for its large student and young professional population. The mall offers the usual commercial staples: McDonald's, KFC, Bioscope Multiplex, and Shoppers Stop. However, the outdoor staircases transform into a lively social hub, or adda, where friends gather to chat, debate, and sip tea. This scene is complemented by nearby street vendors selling popular local snacks like puchka (pani puri), momos, and kathi rolls.  It's as much a sociological observation as a shopping trip.
