Architectural Notes:  These Indo-Mughal-colonial temples beautifully merge Jain architectural traditions with Muslim and European influences. Unlike the intricately carved marble interiors of Rajasthan's famous temples, these structures use marble primarily for flooring and decorative plaques. Superior stucco work (pankha), a feature of Murshidabadi architecture, adorns many temple interiors. The result is a distinctive regional style found nowhere else in India.

Beyond the “big three,” Jiaganj’s Jain footprint continues into lanes and courtyards, especially around Kiratbagh, where smaller shrines and a revered Dadawadi deepen the sense that this isn’t a single complex so much as an entire sacred neighbourhood.
