Churulia Nazrul Vidyapith & Kazi Nazrul Islam Mahavidyalaya

The village school (where Nazrul himself received early schooling) and the college founded in 1981 are functioning institutions rather than sights in the tourist sense, but both lie along the same modest lane as the Academy and are open to a polite exterior walk-through. The Mahavidyalaya, affiliated to Kazi Nazrul University, offers honours courses in Bengali, Hindi, English, history, geography, political science, and commerce, and if you catch a lecture letting out you may stumble into impromptu conversation.
