Baikunthapur Forest: Flanking the village from the west, this forest carries mythological significance. Locals believe it was a hideout of Lord Krishna during his childhood. The forest is home to wild elephants, deer, wild boar, and occasionally leopards. While core areas require permits, forest edges are accessible and rewarding for casual nature walks.
Apalchand Forest: Across the river lies this forest known for elephant corridors. Spotting elephants from a distance is possible, especially in the early morning or late afternoon. Never approach on foot, observe from vehicles only.
