For a bird's-eye view, the Darjeeling-Rangeet Valley Passenger Cable Car offers a stunning (and slightly terrifying) descent over lush tea gardens into the valley below. The 45-minute round trip starts from Singamari (North Point) and goes down to Tukvar. Be warned: queues in high season can be hours long, and there is no online booking.
