Dantan hosts a small local museum, the Dantapur Museum, established by a local scholar and attached to the town library. It contains artefacts from the region (coins, early inscriptions, sculpted fragments) assembled over decades by community effort. The museum is informally maintained and not always open to casual visitors; a request at the library building is the best approach. For those deeply interested in the region's archaeology, the collection repays patience. It is one of the few places where the material culture of ancient Dandabhukti has been assembled in any systematic way, however modestly.
