Bird Watching in Tinchuley

Tinchuley and its forests are outstanding for birdwatching. The mixed broadleaf-conifer forest at this altitude hosts a rich assemblage including rufous-bellied niltava, black-throated robin, fire-tailed myzornis, crimson sunbird, Mrs. Gould's sunbird and multiple fulvetta species. Dawn hours are most productive. Ask your homestay owner, as several families have informal knowledge of local birding spots that no guidebook records.
