This massive, tapering defensive wall (42 feet high and 15 feet wide at the base) was built during Sultan Nasiruddin Mahmud Shah's reign. The name comes from “22 Bengali yards” (its height). Surrounded by excavation sites, the wall evokes a haunted, atmospheric quality perfect for contemplative wandering.
