Small but well-maintained museum with Malla sculptures, manuscripts, coins, traditional music instruments and terracotta pieces. The museum houses artefacts from Bishnupur and the entire Bankura District, including stone and copper age artefacts. The music gallery showcases instruments of the Bishnupur gharana, while the textile gallery exhibits famous local sarees like baluchari and swarnachari. Good context before/after the temples.
Hours: 10am–5pm, closed Wednesday.
